WHY MINI MILITIA GOT INSANE POPULARITY?
The main reason of popularity was it's addictive gameplay and very easy controls and the second biggest reason was that you could play this game offline as well. Even, it was one of the first multiplayer game to have features such as character and weapons customisations and upgrades. The another reason for the popularity of this game was that it is very light-weight, due to it ran smoothly even in the low-end devices.

Downfall
As we already know , DA2:MM gained significant popularity due to its simple but addictive gameplay and multiplayer features. There are many potential reasons for the downfall of Mini milita, like lack of updates, outdated gameplay etc. The following are the major reasons for its downfall.
Competition :- The first and major reason for its downfall is increasing competition. Games like PUBG Mobile , Free offer and other multiplayer battleground games offer better gameplay experience, 3D graphics, better controls , big maps. Due to these features, most of the players switched to other games . Also, Mini milita feels outdated in comparison to these new games.
Cheating:- Cheating is also one of the major reasons for its downfall. Many players started using third-party apps .The developers had also not taken any suitable steps towards cheaters. Due to this, the honest players were frustrated and lost their interest in it and shifted to other games.
